W Chain

User Guide: Cross-Chain Bridge

Welcome to the W Chain Cross-Chain Bridge! This guide will walk you through the process of safely and easily transferring your digital assets between W Chain, BNB Chain, and Ethereum. Follow these steps to ensure a seamless bridging experience.

What is a Cross-Chain Bridge?

A Cross-Chain Bridge allows you to move digital assets between different blockchains. Think of it as a digital tunnel that securely transfers your tokens from one blockchain to another.

Step 1: Open the Bridge Portal

  • Go to the official bridge website: https://bridge.w-chain.com/bridge.
Important: This is the only official bridge. Be cautious of scams!

  • On the top-right corner of the page, click “Bridge” to open the bridge interface.

    .

Step 2: Connect Your Crypto Wallet

You need a crypto wallet (like MetaMask or Trust Wallet) to use the bridge.

How to Connect Your Wallet:

  1. Click the “Connect Wallet” button.
  2. Select your wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.).
  3. Approve the connection in your wallet.
  4. Ensure your wallet is connected to the correct network (EthereumBNB Chain, or W Chain).

Tip: Make sure you have enough crypto in your wallet to cover transaction fees!

Step 3: Choose the Blockchain You’re Sending From

Select the blockchain where your assets are currently stored.

  1. Click on the “Source Network” dropdown and choose:
    • W Chain (if your tokens are on W Chain)
    • BNB Chain (if your tokens are on Binance Smart Chain)
    • Ethereum (if your tokens are on Ethereum)
  2. Enter the amount of tokens you want to bridge.
  3. Click “Check Balance” to confirm how much you have in your wallet.

Step 4: Choose the Blockchain You’re Sending To

Select the destination blockchain where you want to send your tokens.

  1. Click on the “Destination Network” dropdown and choose:
    • W Chain
    • BNB Chain
    • Ethereum

Reminder: You cannot send tokens to the same blockchain. For example, you can’t bridge Ethereum to Ethereum.

Step 5: Review Your Transaction Details

Before proceeding, double-check the following:

  • The amount you’re sending and the amount you will receive.
  • The source and destination blockchains are correct.
  • The transaction fee (some amount is deducted for processing the bridge).

Tip: If everything looks good, proceed to the next step.

Step 6: Start the Transfer

  • Click the “Bridge” button to begin.
  • Your crypto wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet) will pop up, asking for confirmation.
  • Click Confirm and pay the required gas fees.

What are Gas Fees?

These are small transaction fees required to process your transfer on the blockchain:

  • Ethereum uses ETH
  • BNB Chain uses BNB
  • W Chain uses WCO

Step 7: Wait for Confirmation

  • Your transaction will now be processed on the blockchain.
  • This usually takes a few minutes, but it might take longer due to network congestion.

How to Check the Status?

  • On the bridge portal, you will see a status bar showing if the transaction is pending or completed.
  • You can also track it using a blockchain explorer (links will be provided after the transaction).

Step 8: Claim Your Tokens on the Destination Blockchain

Once the swap is processed, you must manually claim your tokens on the destination blockchain.

How to Claim Tokens:

  • After processing, the “Claim” button will become active on the bridge portal.
  • Click “Claim” to initiate the final transfer of tokens to your wallet.
  • Approve the transaction in your wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.).
  • Wait for the confirmation message.
  • Your tokens will now be visible in your wallet on the destination blockchain.

Tip: If the Claim button does not appear, refresh the page and reconnect your wallet.

Step 9: Verify That You Received Your Tokens

Once the swap is processed, you must manually claim your tokens on the destination blockchain.

Once the transaction is complete, you should see your tokens in your wallet on the destination blockchain.

If you don’t see them immediately, try the following:

  • Refresh your wallet.
  • Add the Bridged WCO contract address manually (see below).
  • Check your transaction status.

Tip: If the Claim button does not appear, refresh the page and reconnect your wallet.

Bridged WCO Contract Addresses (For Security)

When bridging WCO, always verify that you are interacting with the official smart contract addresses:

  • Ethereum (ETH):
    0x5F9F69e2544bD392F85F1D0E22587AB7069BF153
  • BNB Chain (BNB):
    0x5F9F69e2544bD392F85F1D0E22587AB7069BF153

WARNING: Never send funds to an address that is not listed here. Scammers may try to trick you!

Troubleshooting & Common Issues

Transaction Failed?

  • Ensure you have enough gas fees (ETH, BNB, or WCO) in your wallet.
  • Double-check your wallet balance and network connection.

Tokens Not Showing in Wallet?

  • Refresh your wallet or manually add the contract address.
  • Check your transaction history to confirm the transaction was successful.

Took Too Long?

  • High network congestion may delay the process. Wait a few more minutes or check the blockchain explorer for updates.

Final Notes

  • Always use the official bridge website and verify contract addresses before sending any assets.
  • Ensure you have enough gas fees for both the source and destination chains.
  • If you need help, visit the official W Chain support page.

By following these steps, you can safely and easily transfer assets across W Chain, BNB Chain, and Ethereum!
